Yes, corporate life is comfortable compared to doing your own thing. I've learned that this year too. Sometimes I wonder how to have a social life or family time when you're doing your own thing. It's hard to quit and no one can fire you! I recommend ythe movie, "The Pursuit of Happyness". I think the man sitting next to me was almost sobbing (so was I!). It captures the emotion of being the breadwinner, of working very hard for something, and ultimately of triumph and love. Just like this post.
