A life coach that I know gave a short talk at our Toastmasters meeting on "Tolerations - what do we tolerate in our lives". Even thought it was only 6-7 minutes she pointed out that we all "put up" with some things we should not - like your dripping pipe - often because we are afraid of what MIGHT be wrong - instead of facing the problem and dealing with it.
