I was researching an article today about the job market in a particular city and landed on a blog hosted by a frustrated job seeker. My concern was that this jobseeker's frustration was so evident in the blog, it could hinder rather than help. I think it is very possible to blog one's way to a new career. Job seekers have to keep in mind though, that people want to hire positive people and that a negative online persona is hard to explain away in the interview. I have been in two minds about setting up a blog to help promote our charity, but am worried I don't have what it takes to make it worth while.
