I could look at her pictures all day long… amazingly beautiful and touching. Also, regarding your thoughtful post, well-done. I honestly don’t expect to see this type of thinking written publicly from someone who recently went through and landed successfully… but we don’t forget, and the economy is enough to scare us into facing the elephant. I love how you end your post: “We’re in for a tough time that has to come home to each of us.”

(2) Funny thing that, I was just trying to post my own semi-coherent thought this morning about the fact that before this recession (and perhaps depression) is over, it will have ceased to be the problems of even a large proportion of us to become the reality of ALL of us. All of our lives will be affected, just like all of our (great-)grandparents’ lives were changed by the Great Depression.
