First off--I have a friend who works for Keith. The internet makes the world much smaller, doesn't it?

Second off--love this post and totally agree that Twitter is not for everyone. I engage with people who @ reply me, but don't always follow them because I use Twitter to keep up with people I know and by following everyone back, those I know get lost in the noise. That doesn't mean I'm not paying attention to those I don't follow.

You make a great point that you should communicate with someone via a channel they are comfortable with. For me, that's Twitter. For you, maybe a comment on your blog. :)

I actually did get a job via Twitter after waiting for a month to announce that I was available for work. Crazy how things work out sometimes.
*Cheers,
Karen
