My last day was January 31, 2008. Early in that process, I stumbled into you Jason. And I paid attention to your story. So much of what you were saying gave my story a voice in those early days, weeks, months. I was, am, and always will be grateful that I got to connect with you. That said, you are so right. I am okay. More okay than ever. But that's because of sweet providence, blind faith and unwavering hope. I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams and can hardly wait to see what happens next.

@Jean, you are welcome :)

@Barry - that is really terrific news - I know your job search has been LONG, with lots of variables and decisions and stuff... I'm really excited for you. My friend Barry, the COO :)

Thanks for the vote of condifence, Jason! As a matter of fact I havee survived, and better than I would have expected. I took a job as a manager of a shoe company to pay the bills and get more management experience late in 2009. A friend of mine called me right after the first of the year, told me of a new position he was developing, and asked me to take it! On January 29 I will become the COO of Peninsula Mental Health Services, and I am really excited!

Patience, trust, faith, a GOOD network, and a knowledge of your strengths help to realize a dream. I am living a complete blessing and am very thankful. It can happen to others as well, if you believe!
