About this Video Platform
This system, which has been adopted by a number of schools, including Pepperdine, UCLA, Virgina, Wisconsin, Utah, BYU and others, was designed by Jason Alba.
Jason was in a miserable job search during the good economy, back in 2006, and came up with the idea for JibberJobber.com, a web-based tool to organize and manage your job search (much like Salesforce or ACT!, but for your professional relationships, not for sales).
He wrote a book titled I’m on LinkedIn-Now What???, which became a best-seller, and started speaking and training on LinkedIn and other social tools. He developed this video training for individuals, and recently started offering it through career centers.
If we receive positive feedback on this system we might make it available to you through your school. Please let us know what you think!
Wow! These videos can be very helpful for both job seekers and employee seekers. The videos were full of solid and reasonable networking advise.
So far, I only watched the first video. It has several helpful tips on how to manage a professional network and foster professional relationships on LinkedIn. Even though I am not currently looking for a job, implementing some of the recommended strategies can lead to new opportunities or will at least maintain a good relationship with my network so that it can be helpful if ever there is a need. I would recommend these videos.
