I am a recent graduate from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management, thinking that I would have no trouble finding good employment by obtaining a degree from a top 40 Business School. During my educational experience, I was taught the importance of proper resume writing, networking and interviewing which I felt that these skills, along with my degree from a good Business School, would be sufficient in helping me to obtain the career of my dreams; however, soon after I graduated, I quickly learned that these skills were inadequate. I learned through experience that my resume was very unprofessional, my interviewing skills were childish, and my network was practically not existent.

I had to learn from experience how to properly seek and interview for a job, which experience caused me a great deal of stress and frustration. I started using JibberJobber in 2008 shortly after being laid off; even though I thought I was already well organized in my job search, within days it saved me from forgetting important steps (following up on leads, etc.)

I will try to keep this brief, a difficult task with such a valuable product.  I have been using JibberJobber.com (JJ) for over a year.  The constant changes to social media sites (for no apparent reason) are very frustrating.  JibberJobber changes just as often, but every change has been a value-added experience, and easy to navigate.  Jason definitely has his finger on the pulse of the needs of his users.  He listens to suggestions and consistently makes this tool more and more powerful.  

In a nutshell (choose your nut of choice, lately mine is walnuts, but I digress!), JJ is an extremely complex system that is amazingly simple to use.  It has helped me to organize my job search and has given me control over the chaos caused by the tremendous amount of data (contacts, companies, and jobs) I continue to accumulate.

There are so many things I would like to address.  The seemless connectivity between jobs/contacts/companies, the links to outside resources, the incredibly vast help resources throughout JJ, the ever-increasing benefits, which so quickly trickle down to the very powerful free version... the list goes on and on and on!  

For now, suffice it to say that there is no doubt in my mind that I will be a life-long client who continues to promote this product at every chance I get.  The only thing I get in return is knowing that I have helped another person by sharing a valuable resource for their job search.  Thank you, Jason, for sharing your solution with us, and for making it so cost effective.  

In a nutshell, Jibber Jobber was the job-search tool that finally worked for me.  I first tried spreadsheets, but they couldn't handle the data complexity needed.  Then I tried 2 other online tools, but they really didn't provide the integration between jobs, contacts, and companies.  They also didn't let me enter custom fields as needed.  

I finally found Jibber Jobber, and I was able to manage the 150 jobs-in-play, the 200 job-contacts, the 90 companies, etc.  I really depended on the event tracking for each job.  With Jibber Jobber I had at the ready all relevent information about a job I applied to (even a month ago) with all my contacts and event data when the all-important phone-call came.  I would quickly retrieve my information on that job and know how to talk about it intelligently to the person on the phone.  A few peole told me that it was a deciding factor to land the interview over another candidate who couldn't remember what position they applied for and why.
